I don’t think its good enough to just have a good camera anymore without the support functions, its just incredibly frustrating to use. If you want to view footage on a tv, you can’t control from the phone, the only way is to use the two button menu system on the camera to navigate which has to be something out of the arc in terms of user friendly user interfaces and is inconsistent, executes functions randomly. Read more ly in 4k mode although other things like communication to phone app via wifi is so flaky its very frustrating with having to re-establish comms ofter. I just lived with this one although it’s painful to use. This one kind of worked although the battery discharge rate was still high around 30 mins even if not filming. Took that one back again and was given another new one in the sealed pack. I bought the Go Pro Hero7 Dec 18 and had to take it back to the shop straight away as there was an issue connecting to a TV via hdmi.
